For over 140 years, Hamoud Boualem has been dedicated to offering high-quality products while remaining true to a know-how passed down through generations. As part of this ongoing commitment, the company has been ISO 22000:2018 certified since September 2021 — an international standard that governs food safety management.
This certification, issued by the independent body TÜV Rheinland, confirms the implementation of a rigorous food safety management system. It covers every stage of production, from the reception of raw materials to final packaging, ensuring safe products for consumers.
The certification applies to all the company’s production sites in Algiers, Oran, and Boufarik, where its various ranges of soft drinks and syrups are manufactured — in PET bottles (25cl, 33cl, 1L, 2L), K100 and K25 formats, as well as in cans (24cl and 33cl). This recognition reflects a strong commitment to consistency and rigor across all production locations.
Hamoud Boualem is currently in its second certification cycle, each cycle covering a three-year period. The renewal of this certification illustrates a continuous improvement dynamic, driven by the dedication of the teams and a constant focus on delivering high-quality, safe, and compliant products.
